Hard work never killed anyone–did it?
The Mill--a new horror-s/f entry from 20th Digital Studio, Hulu and Altar Rock Pictures–recently wrapped filming in New Jersey for a projected debut later this year on Hulu (domestically) and on Disney+ (internationally), according to a report on Deadline.
The film–directed by Sean King O’Grady from a screenplay by Jeffrey David Thomas–stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), who also serves as a producer.
In The Mill, Howery plays a white-collar businessman “who mysteriously wakes up one day in an open-air prison cell that contains only an old grist mill,” according to the synopsis.
Forced to work as a beast of burden in order to stay alive, the man “must find a way to escape before the birth of his child.”
Josh Feldman, Jesse Ford and O’Grady also acts as producers, working alongside executive producers Barbara and Brooke Goldner, David Worthen Brooks, Arbi Pedrossian and Jenna Cavelle.
