In the feature–written and directed by Ben Steiner (Monsterland 2)–Laura Birch flees the pressure of the high-stakes advertising world and returns to her roots in a secluded English village, according to the synopsis.
Accepting an invitation from her estranged mother, Birch “hopes the time away will help calm the demons raging inside her.” But she soon discovers that the local townspeople “are protecting an unspeakably dark secret–one that involves not only her mother, but her own terrifying destiny, as well.”
The cast includes Jemima Rooper (Black Dahlia), Kate Dickie (The Northman), Franc Ashman (Time) and Keith David Bartlett.
