Horror Game ‘Still Wakes The Deep’ Debuts Early 2024

Still Wakes the Deep–a new narrative horror game from British video game developer The Chinese Room (Dear Esther)–is scheduled for release early next year. Check out the trailer for the game on this page.

The first-person game–developed for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC and Game Pass–is set on the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland in 1975.

When disaster strikes, players must “navigate the collapsing rig to save the crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality,” according to the description.
