Horror Film ‘Imaginary’ Gets Real 2024 Release Date

Beware the friend scorned.

Imaginary–a supernatural horror pic from Blumhouse Productions and Lionsgate–this week landed a Feb. 2, 2024 theatrical release date, according to a report on Deadline.

Directed by Jeff Wadlow (The Curse of Bridge Hollow) from a screenplay he wrote with Greg Erb, Jason Oremland and Bryce McGuire, is in the casting process, with an eye toward a production start sometime soon.

Imaginary–produced by Jason Blum and Wadlow–follows a young woman “who returns to her childhood home only to find the imaginary friend she left behind is very real–and very unhappy she left,” according to the brief synopsis.
