Funny, it doesn’t sound like a horror flick.
A new horror thriller with the unlikely title of Howdy, Neighbor! will start shooting later this month, and a busload of actors was revealed this week, according to a report in Variety.
The upcoming film–from writer/director/producer Allisyn Snyder (Nasty Habits, Strangers)–has inked Disney Channel alums Matthew Scott Montgomery, Debby Ryan, Alyson Stoner, Kevin Chamberlin, Tim Bagley, Shayne Topp and Damien Haas to lead the cast–along with supporting cast members Grant Jordan, Sterling Sulieman, Adam Faison, Greer Grammer and Kimmy Shields.
Howdy, Neighbor!–described as a “screenlife” film, with all footage taking place on computer screens–follows Benjamin (Montgomery), a young actor living in West Hollywood who was once a famous child star, according to the brief logline.
When a new neighbor, Chase (Jordan), moves across the hall and reveals himself as a fan, Benjamin “begins investigating the oddly familiar man with his best friend, Harley (Ryan).
Charles M. Barsamian and Matthew Scott Montgomery also serve as producers, with Dylan Snyder and Bob Morrison acting as executive producers.
