Horror Feature ‘Wilder Than Her’ Wraps Production

The forest holds special horrors.

Wilder Than Her--a new horror thriller–has wrapped production in California, but does not yet have a release window, according to a report on Deadline.

Described as a “thriller with a twist”, the film is written and directed by Jessica Kozak. The screenplay was selected for the 2020 Blood List as one of the best unproduced genre scripts of the year.

Wilder Than Her follows friends Emilia, Finn and Lucey “as they attempt to reconnect on an annual camping trip, following the death of their best friend Bea,” according to the synopsis. “But things grow increasingly strange and uncomfortable in the isolated forest as their friendship unravels.”

The feature–with UTA handling worldwide sales–stars Sunita Mani (Mr. Robot), Kate Easton (When They See Us), Kayla Foster (Call Jane) and Danny Deferrari (Oppenheimer).

The film is produced by Shannon Reilly, Chelsea Davenport and Kimberly Hwang, with Bob Potter serving as executive producer.
