Too much TV is bad for your eyes.
I Saw the TV Glow–a new horror thriller from A24–recently wrapped shooting and is deep in post-production work now, according to The Hollywood Reporter. No release window has yet been announced.
The film–from writer/director Jane Schoenbrun (We’re All Going to the World’s Fair)–stars Justice Smith (Jurassic World Dominion) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (Bombshell) as “two teenage outcasts who bond over their shared love of a scary TV show,” according to the logline. “However, the boundary between TV and reality begins to blur after the show is mysteriously canceled.”
The rest of the cast includes Helena Howard, Danielle Deadwyler, Amber Benson, Ian Foreman, Michael Maronna, Conner O’Malley, Emma Portner and Danny Tamberelli.
The film’s producers include Dave McCary, Ali Herting, Sarah Winshall and Sam Intili.
