Horror comics in the main stream

Staff member, David Pinckney, has submitted his latest article titled: Horror comics in the main stream.

By now we’ve all heard about DC’s reboot of their universe. For better or for worse, we now are starting to see a change in their line up. Some may have seen that there is now one tie-in that seems a little strange, Frankenstein Flashpoint tie-in. Normally, tie-ins aren’t unusual, but what is unusual is the selection of Frankenstein having his own mini-series, cannon of the DCU. Not only this, but we are now faced with the realization that Swamp Thing is going to be a major part of the DCU considering the recent cross over event Brightest Day. Not only is he going to be a focal point, but he too will have his mini-series debuting soon in Brightest Day Aftermath: Search for Swamp thing. The question here is: “Is Horror going to have a fixed place in the mainstream comic?”
