Just one big, happy family.
The Radleys–a horror-comedy from Genesius Pictures–is now shooting in London and Yorkshire with an eye toward a 2024 release, according to a report on Deadline.
The film–directed by Euros Lyn from a screenplay by Talitha Stevenson (and adapted from the Matt Haig novel)–stars Damian Lewis and Kelly Macdonald–along with Harry Baxendale, Bo Bragason, Sophia Di Martino and Shaun Parkes.
The Radleys–set in a quiet, suburban English town–follows the titular family who appear normal on the surface, but who are anything but. It seems parents Peter (Lewis) and Helen (Mcdonald) are concealing a dark secret from their teenage children Rowan (Baxendale) and Clara (Bragason).
The secret? They’re “abstaining vampires–who choose not to drink blood, making them more and more bloodthirsty by the day,” according to the synopsis.
And, when Peter’s twin brother Will shows up (also played by Lewis)–who happens to be a practicing vampire–the family “has to confront some home truths.”
