NBC has picked up a horror comedy pilot called ‘Strange Calls’. Originally developed by ABC twice, the remake of the Australian show is being produced by Kapital Entertainment’s Aaron Kaplan, which makes it his fifth pilot order of the season. The single-camera show takes place in a rural town, where a around an unlucky young police officer is transferred. He is assisted by a strange elderly man, when he realizes that the town is home to supernatural occurrences. You can watch the trailer for the original Aussie series below.
