Horror-Comedy ‘Shining Vale’ Season 2 Hits Starz In October

This house is a tad more than a fixer-upper.

The Starz horror-comedy Shining Vale now has a debut date for its second season, and brand-new images have dropped. Check out the photos–courtesy of Entertainment Weekly–on this page.

The next eight-episode season–set to hit Starz Oct. 13–comes from Jeff Astrof, Aaron Kaplan and Sharon Horgan, and stars Scream legacy star Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear and Mira Sorvino.

Astrof–who serves as showrunner–said he’s “thrilled to be able to tell the next eight chapters of this story. I look forward to trying to raise the bar even further in Season 2.”

In Season 1, Pat (Cox) and Terry Phelps (Kinnear) move into an old Victorian mansion in Connecticut in an attempt to save their marriage. But thing go south, as “doors slam, the piano plays by itself and an old-fashioned-looking woman appears to hover outside a window.”
