Horror-Comedy ‘All You Need Is Blood’ Wraps Shooting

Eating brains doesn’t have to be so serious.

All You Need Is Blood–a comedic horror thriller from Yale Entertainment–recently wrapped filming in New Jersey, according to a report on Deadline. No release window has yet been announced.

The film–from writer/director Cooper Roberts–stars several genre veterans, including Mena Suvari (American Horror Story), Logan Riley Bruner (Stranger Things) and Eddie Griffin (Scary Movie 3).

In the feature, a 16-year-old aspiring director teams up with his friends “to create the ultimate student film after a meteor lands in his backyard and turns his deadbeat father into a brain-eating zombie,” according to the synopsis.

“It’s a zombie film,” said producer Jesse Korman, “but I love it because of how much heart it has. At its core, this story has so many meaningful themes it’s exploring, buried under the carnage.”
