Horror Awaits The Unwary ‘In The Forest’ Next Week

How do you prepare for the camping trip from hell?

A new horror/thriller from Vertical Entertainment–In the Forest–hits theaters and VOD Jan. 28, and a chilling trailer–courtesy of JoBlo.com–can be viewed on this page.

The third feature from writer/director Hector Barron, In the Forest follows Helen and her daughter Emily as they “reluctantly accompany Helen’s father Stan on a family camping trip deep into the forest for a real outdoors experience,” according to the official synopsis.

Unfortunately for them, Howard–the very angry landowner–finds them on his property and makes them leave. Then, when their RV gets stuck, Helen decides to look for help, but “discovers a disturbing secret on the man’s property. She must then fight to protect her family and make it out of the forest alive before being hunted down.”

In the Forest–produced by Brian McLaughlin–stars Debbon Ayer, Cristina Spruell, Lyman Ward, Don Baldaramos, Kaitlyn Dias, Time Winters and Sharon Sharth.
