Horror fans will be able to relive that Last Night in Soho in the comfort of their own homes in a few weeks.
Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller was a hit in theaters when it debuted in October, and now, the chills come to 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD Jan. 18, 2022, according to a report on JoBlo.com. And bonus features galore are included in the home package.
The list of bonus featurettes includes: Meet Eloise (an in-depth look at the character played by lead Thomasin McKenzie); Dreaming of Sandie (a closer look at Anya Taylor-Joy’s Sandie character); Smoke and Mirrors (how all the lighting, makeup and special effects in the film came together); On the Streets of Soho (the importance of shooting on location in Soho); and Time Traveling (a look into how the music, costume design and production design worked together in the movie).
Other extras include deleted scenes, trailers and feature commentaries with director Wright, his co-writer Kristy Wilson-Cairns, editor Paul Machliss and composer Steve Price.
Last Night in Soho–directed and written by Wright and Wilson-Cairns–follows Eloise (Thomasin McKenzie), an aspiring fashion designer, who is mysteriously able to slip back into 1966 London and into the body of her singing idol, Sandie (Anya Taylor-Joy).
The film–which also stars Matt Smith, Diana Rigg and Terence Stamp–shows Eloise that “the glamour of 1960s London is not what it appears to be–and the past and present fall apart with shady and horrifying consequences.”
Wright–who also directed Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Baby Driver (2017)–has said horror films have always been “something I’ve wanted to watch and wanted to make.”
