What’s it like to spend several scary nights at Freddy’s? Pick an adjective.
Five Nights at Freddy’s–the Blumhouse film adaptation of the popular horror video game–hits the big screen this Friday, Oct. 27, and two new videos have dropped to preview the mayhem on tap. Check them out on this page.
One brief featurette spotlights what the cast and crew think of the new movie, while the second (much longer) video shows what gamers can expect when they tackle the original video game.
The horror pic–directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback–follows Mike Schmidt (John Hutcherson), a night security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.
Schmidt’s job becomes a dangerous proposition, however, when he discovers that the pizzeria’s animatronic creatures come to violent life when the sun goes down.
The cast is sounded out by Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail and Kat Conner Sterling.
