Deadline has news that GSN has the horror-themed game show Hellevator, in development.
Hellevator, which is produced by Matador and Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Prods in association with Lionsgate TV, features contestants entering a dark, mysterious warehouse – via an ominous-looking elevator – where they will compete in a series of scary, suspenseful and emotionally exhausting challenges. Only the survivors will make it out as winner.
“GSN has taken some big swings in development over the past year,” says David Schiff, senior vice president of programming and development at GSN. “That push is paying off.”
