Earlier today at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, HBO Max revealed a trailer for their upcoming series Raised by Wolves. Created by Ridley Scott and Aaron Guzikowski, the series is slated to premiere on HBO Max on September 3, 2020. Scott helmed the first two episodes, which serves as his TV directorial debut for an American audience.
Raised by Wolves centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.
The trailer, which can be seen below, bears a resemblance to other Scott films, most notably Prometheus.
In addition to Scott directing, the series stars Travis Fimmel, Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong and Matias Varela.
