Chloe Sevigny, star of the HBO drama Big Love, is tackling another project with the pay-cable network and Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman’s production company, Deadline reports. HBO is developing Lizzie Borden, a four-hour miniseries about the infamous story of Lizzie Borden who, in 1893, was acquitted of murdering her overbearing father and step-mother with a hatchet, but was publically condemned. Sevigny, who has been the driving force behind the project, is set to star as Borden as well as co-executive produce. Because of her relationship with Playtone on Big Love, she took the project to Hanks and Goetzman, who are executive producing. Sevigny, repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment, also brought in writer Bryce Kass, who is in the midst of writing the script. Check out the HBO Developing Lizzie Borden Miniseries. | ![]() |
