Age seems to be a real issue for vampires.
Interview with the Vampire–the AMC adaptation of the 1976 Anne Rice bestseller–hits the small screen in a couple of weeks, and another short video has dropped to tease the series.
This clip has Bailey Bass explaining the nuances of her role as the eternally young Claudia–the child vampire created by Lestat, who becomes his companion on his vampiric adventures. Check out the video on this page.
30 seconds ain't long, but it's long enough to get to know Claudia. #InterviewWithTheVampire pic.twitter.com/RpDuak433y

The seven-episode first season–from creator and showrunner Colin Jones–kicks off Oct. 2, and follows Lestat (Sam Reid), Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia as they embark on an “epic story of love, blood and the perils of immortality,” according to the synopsis.
Bass said she “wanted the challenge” of playing the role of Claudia. The character, Bass explained, “feels so many emotions because she’s stuck in this 14-year-old body. She feels things so deeply.”
The series also stars Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, the journalist who interviews Louis; Assad Zaman as Rashid; and Kalyne Coleman as Grace, Louis’ sister.
