‘Tis the season to get nostalgic.
The original 1978 Halloween–acknowledged by horror fans everywhere as one of the true classics–is set to slash its way back into theaters later this month.
As the iconic film celebrates its 45th anniversary, the John Carpenter masterwork will return to the big screen just in time for the spooky season. Check out the CineLife Entertainment website for scheduling details.
In addition, two of the film’s sequels–Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers–will also scare their way into theaters this month.
The original Halloween–helmed by Carpenter, who also wrote the screenplay with producer Debra Hill–stars Jamie Lee Curtis (as she begins her legendary run as Laurie Strode) and Donald Pleasence. The storyline (as all fans know) follows mental patient Michael Myers as he returns to Haddonfield, Ill. to stalk teenage babysitter Strode and her friends.
