“It’s time to put the boogeyman to bed.”
An new international TV spot for Halloween Ends–the upcoming final chapter in the classic horror franchise–seems to recreate a bloody scene involving Michael Myers and an unfortunate victim that may be familiar to many fans. Check out the video–courtesy of Screen Rant–on this page.
The spot–which hearkens back to 1978’s Halloween–shows Myers pinning his victim against a wall before using the knife he wields so well. This video is the latest tease for the film which hits theaters and Peacock Oct. 14.
Halloween Ends–directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier–brings back horror legend Jamie Lee Curtis one more time as Laurie Strode who, in the film, is living with granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) as she wraps up her memoir.
But, when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, “it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control,” according to the synopsis.
The feature also stars James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, Michael O’Leary and Nick Castle.
