Michael Myers’ final act is playing well in homes across the country.
Halloween Ends–the final chapter in the current Halloween trilogy–has enjoyed an impressive run on Peacock, with the horror pic slipping into the Nielsen Top 10 ranking for the week of Oct. 10-16, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
This marks the first time in the streamer’s history that one of its films has been in the Nielsen Top 10. Despite Peacock lagging behind Netflix and Amazon in number of subscribers, Halloween Ends ranked eighth in the overall charts for that time period, with 717 million minutes viewed.
Halloween Ends–directed by David Gordon Green–finds Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) living peacefully with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) as she finishes up her memoir.
But that peaceful life is shattered when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting–an act that sets off such terror and violence that Laurie is forced to “finally confront the evil she can’t control.”
The film also stars James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, Michael O’Leary and Nick Castle.
