Only one of them will survive.

Halloween Ends–billed as the final battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers–is only about two months away now, and a very brief, tense teaser has dropped to ramp up the anticipation. Check out the clip on  this page.

The final film in the current Halloween trilogy officially carries an R rating now, as well, for “bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout and some sexual references.”

Halloween Ends–directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier–is set four years after Halloween Kills, when Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) “is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing her memoir,” according to the synopsis.

Myers hasn’t been seen since, and Laurie has decided to “liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life.” But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell), “is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control–once and for all.”

The film–scheduled to hit theaters Oct. 14–also stars James Jude Courtney, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey and Michael O’Leary.
