Even with Halloween Ends wrapping up the recent David Gordon Green horror trilogy, some questions remain among fans about the fate of the franchise. And, with the (apparent) demise of Michael Myers, one question is: Will his face ever be completely revealed?
The iconic mask has been removed several times during the film series, but a clear look at Myers’ face has never been offered. Until now.
Thanks to stuntperson Lydia Hand’s behind-the-scenes photo with James Jude Courtney, that mystery has been cleared up. Check out her Instagram post on this page.
Halloween Ends–directed by Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier–finds Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) wrapping up her memoir and living peacefully with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak).
But Michael Myers casts a long shadow, and it’s not long before a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting–and Laurie is finally “forced to confront the evil she can’t control.”
The final (?) chapter also stars Courtney as the masked maniac–along with Will Patton, Kyle Richards, Omar Dorsey, Michael O’Leary and Nick Castle.
