Golden Globe Awards Airs Teaser for ‘American Horror Stories’ Spinoff Series

by Jen Bernardini

The Golden Globes aired a six-second teaser trailer for the spinoff series American Horror Stories last night. The American Horror Story franchise, created by Ryan Murphy, will continue with season 10. The spin-off series will feature sixteen, one-hour, stand-alone episodes that take a deep dive into horror myths, legends, and lore. Many of the episodes, true to AHS form, will feature the AHS stars we know and love. It has also been rumored that Sarah Paulson, an AHS veteran, will be directing an episode.

The six-second video is a montage of shots from previous seasons of AHS, so we’re not getting any sneak peaks at what we’ll see in the new series, however it does have that familiar eerie feel to it that has become an AHS staple.

While no cast has been officially announced, back in May, Ryan Murphy shared a photo of a Zoom call which teased which actors may be involved in the upcoming spin-off. The photo of the call showed Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Katy Bates, and Lily Rabe, among others.  American Horror Stories will air exclusively on FX on Hulu.
