The Ghost Rider 1/6-scale diorama–due out in January 2023–will be distributed by Diamond Comics and will be available from most online retailers and comic book shops. The price tag? A white-hot $880.
The fully sculpted statue sports the Spirit of Vengeance’s signature black biker jacket, black pants and black boots–all accented with silver spikes and chains wrapped around his right arm and torso. His Hell Cycle blends monstrous bones and mechanical construction throughout the silver frame.
The eye-catching flames surrounding the skeletal head are semi-translucent–incorporating vibrant red, orange and yellow colors. All in all, not something you want to spot in your rear-view mirror.
The first supernatural Marvel Comics Ghost Rider character–Johnny Blaze–was created by editor Roy Thomas, writer Gary Friedrich and artist Mike Ploog, and debuted in Marvel Spotlight No. 5 in 1972. The character earned his own series the following year, with Jim Mooney taking over the art chores.
