General Mills Monster Cereal Characters Featured in Funko’s ‘Ad Icons’ Mystery Minis Line

Get ready to search through some blind boxes to locate your favorite breakfast monsters (along with many other advertising characters near and dear to the hearts of every Gen-X kid) as Funko has just announced a new line of Ad Icon Mystery Minis via their official twitter page.

All five of the General Mills monsters are represented, including the rare Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy.  As usual, getting the figure you want will vary anywhere from between a 1/6 chance to an unlikely 1/72 gamble.

Other characters included in the line range from fellow cereal icons like Lucky the Leprechaun, to the always full Kool-Aid Man, and even the elusive King Ding Dong.

This isn’t the first time the monsters have received the Funko treatment, as they have been cast as Funko Pops, Wacky Wobblers, and other product lines since discontinued such as Funko Blox.

Be sure to check back with Horror News Network for more information about pre-orders and release dates as they are announced.
