New Horror Feature ‘From Black’ Slated For Shudder In April

How much can a mother sacrifice?

From Black–a new horror thriller dealing with maternal trials and tribulations–will start streaming exclusively on Shudder this spring, according to a report on Deadline.

The feature–scheduled to debut April 14–is directed by Thomas Marchese from a screenplay by Vincent Cardinale, and stars Anna Camp (True Blood).

In the film, a young mother–crushed by guilt after the disappearance of her young son five years previously–is presented with “a bizarre offer to learn the truth and set things right,” according to the synopsis.

But, how far is she willing to go–“and is she willing to pay the terrifying price for a chance to hold her boy again?”

The feature–produced by Cardinale and Kelly Frazier–also stars Jennifer Lafleur, John Ales, Travis Hammer and Richie Montgomery.
