Frank Darabont Sues AMC Over Profits From The Walking Dead

by CTbrthrhd

The Walking Dead developer Frank Darabont and his agency, CAA, are filing a lawsuit against AMC for such things as wrongful termination, removal of executive producer credit and not receiving profits from other Walking Dead related projects.

Darabont’s suit claims that despite stellar ratings over the course of 4 seasons he has yet to receive any profit from a show which he helped develop.  The suit also alleges that AMC’s licensing fee per episode only covered roughly 65% of the actual production cost per episode.

The lawsuit is asking for an unspecified monetary sum to be determined by a jury.
