Frances Conroy will star in Spike’s The Mist TV series, based on Stephen King’s 1980 book. The straight-to-series drama has a 10-episode order. It tells the story of a seemingly benign mist that engulfs a small town, leaving chaos and destruction in its wake.
Conroy previously starred in Six Feet Under and American Horror Story. She will play the role of Nathalie, an ecological martyr who is more connected to nature than most humans. However her instincts about the humans she encounters are dead on.
Christian Torpe is writing and executive producing the Dimension Television series.
