Dip your toe into horror.
Night Swim–another dive into terror from Blumhouse Productions, Atomic Monster and Universal Pictures–has added four more cast members as production has started in Los Angeles, according to a report on Deadline.
Amelie Hoeferle (Hunger Games prequel), Gavin Warren (Fear the Walking Dead), Nancy Lenehan (A League Of Their Own) and Jodi Long (Dash & Lily) have joined Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon in the feature that’s slated to hit theaters Jan. 5, 2024.
The movie is written and directed by Bryce McGuire and Rod Blackhurst, and is based on a 2014 short by the two filmmakers.
The film deals with “the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool,” according to the brief logline. “No running. No diving. No lifeguard on duty. No swimming after dark.” Sounds like no fun.
Jason Blum and James Wan have teamed up to produce the flick, with Michael Clear, Judson Scott and Ryan Turek on board as executive producers.
