This film has legs.
Fresh off the European Film Market, Black Bear International this week announced a slew of international deals for Longlegs, the most recent horror thriller starring Nicolas Cage, according to a report on Deadline.
The film–currently being shot in Vancouver, Canada–comes from writer/director Osgood Perkin, and also stars Maika Monroe (It Follows). Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan are producing the feature, which does not yet have a release window.
Longlegs follows new FBI Agent Lee Harker (Monroe), who is assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer (Cage), according to the synopsis.
As the case becomes more and more complicated–turning up evidence of the occult–Harker discovers “a personal connection to the merciless killer, and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.”
