Five Nights at Freddy’s–the big-screen take on the horror video game–is shooting in New Orleans, aiming for an Oct. 27 theatrical day-and-date release with Peacock, according to a report on Deadline. The film is set for a wide theatrical debut.

The Blumhouse Productions feature–directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback–stars Matthew Lillard, Josh Hutcherson, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail and Kat Conner Sterling.

The video game follows a night security guard working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza who quickly learns he may have chosen a dangerous occupation. The animatronic animals that seem so nice and cuddly during the day become something completely different at night.

And those animatronics will come to full cinematic life from the arisans at Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, so horror fans can expect the unexpected.
