The pizza parlor is starting to get crowded.
Earlier this week, Kat Conner Sterling signed on for the wild ride that is Five Nights at Freddy’s–the big-screen adaptation of the popular horror video game–and now word comes from Deadline that Elizabeth Lail (Countdown, You) has joined the swelling cast.
The Blumhouse Productions feature–currently shooting in New Orleans–also stars Matthew Lillard, Josh Hutcherson and Mary Stuart Masterson. No release window has yet been announced.
The horror pic–produced by Jason Blum–is directed by Emma Tammi from a screenplay she wrote with game creator Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback.
The video game follows a night security guard working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza who quickly learns there’s more to the place than meets the eye. At night, the usually cuddly animatronic animals transform into something a lot more dangerous.
And with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop bringing those creatures to cinematic life, horror fans can expect some eye-popping visuals.
