Maybe you can’t go home again.
My Sister’s Bones–a psychological thriller from BKStudios–has wrapped shooting in London and Morocco, according to a report from Deadline. Check out the first-look images from the film here on this page.
The feature–directed by Heidi Greensmith and adapted from Nuala Ellwood’s novel by screenwriter Naomi Gibney–stars Olga Kurylenko (Black Widow), Jenny Seagrove (The Guardian), Anna Friel (Marcella), Ben Miles (The Crown) and David Bradley (Game of Thrones).
In the film, war correspondent Kate Rafter (Seagrove) is working with a psychiatrist, Dr. Shaw (Kurylenko). A “horrific accident in war-torn Iraq and the death of her mother have brought a haunted Rafter home to Herne Bay, a place she thought she had escaped forever,” according to the synopsis.
Rafter’s sister (Friel) has not made her feel welcome, and her forbearing husband Paul (Miles) doesn’t help the situation. While packing up her mother’s belongings from her childhood home, Rafter “comes to believe there is something strange and terrifying happening in the house next door.”
The film is produced by Bill Kenwright, working with executive producers David Gilbery and Naomi George.
