If you missed the debut issue of Image Comics new horror series Stillwater you still have another chance to read the first issue. Written by The New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award winning writer Chip Zdarsky (The White Trees, Daredevil, Sex Criminals) featuring art by Eisner, Harvey, and Shuster Award-winning artist Ramón K. Pérez (Jim Henson’s Tale of Sand, Jane) a second printing is being rushed back to print in order to spread more chills this October.
The series is based “In the town of Stillwater, nobody dies. That’s not just a promise. It’s a threat. This eerie new series is the perfect read for all the Halloween vibes and promises fans even more terror to come,” according to the official synopsis.
“Look, I’m not mad if you didn’t buy our first printing. I get it,” said Zdarsky, through gritted teeth. “You work hard, you’re a busy person, and it’s tough finding time to make it down to your comic store on Wednesdays. This second print will catch you up in time for issue two, which you’ll surely have on order now so this doesn’t happen again.”
