If you’re a fan of Pacific Rim we have some great news to pass along today as Netflix revealed the first two images for its Pacific Rim anime spinoff, Pacific Rim: The Black.
The images debuted on Twitter and follows a pair of siblings who are Jaegar pilots. The post read: “Long ago, humanity defeated the Kaiju. Now, they’re evacuating Australia. Join a pair of siblings and their battered, long-abandoned Jaegar as they battle across a continent of danger.”

The original Pacific Rim flick hit theaters on July 12, 2013 and featured humans who pilot giant robots to combat Kaiju attacks across the globe. Guillermo del Toro directed the picture to much buildup as genre fans helped push it past the $411 million mark at the cinema. A sequel titled Pacific Rim Uprising was released on March 23, 2018, with Universal Pictures distributing.
