Showrunner Greg Nicotero dropped a few hints regarding the upcoming season, saying that “every episode is very different. I wrote a bunch of them, and directed a lot of them.” He also confirmed that an adaptation of Joe Hill’s story Mums will appear in Season 3.

In addition, some of the featured actors were announced. Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead), James Remar (Dexter), Johnathon Schaech (Prom Night), Reid Scott (Venom) and Hannah Fierman (V/H/S) will appear in various episodes.
