Fiona Dourif is Returning to ‘Chucky’ Franchise

by Larry Dwyer

Awesome news, Charles Lee Ray fans, as EW has reported that Fiona Dourif is returning to the role of Nica Pierce for SyFy and USA’s upcoming show Chucky. Fiona Dourif first appeared in 2013’s Curse of Chucky as the paraplegic Nica who unfortunately receives a mysterious package in the mail containing the all-too-familiar Good Guy doll. She then returned for the 2017 surprise hit Cult of Chucky.

Fiona will be joining her dad, Brad Dourif, who played the original Charles Lee Ray and who has voiced the evil doll in every Chucky film with the exception of the 2019 remake (Mark Hamill). Also confirmed in the cast is Devon Sawa (Final Destination), Jennifer Tilly (Bride of Chucky), Bjorgvin Arnarson (The Seventh Day), Alyvia Alyn Lind (The Young and the Restless), Teo Briones (Ratched) and Zackary Arthur (Mom and Dad).

Chucky is slated to hit our televisions in 2021 so hold tight and keep hoping for the announcement of the return of Alex Vincent as Andy!
