Stop serving. Start living.
It’s just a few weeks now until a brand-new take on Dracula’s gofer hits the big screen, and the final trailer for Renfield arrived this week. Check out the off-the-wall video on this page before it lands in theaters April 14.
The much-hyped R-rated horror-comedy from Universal Pictures stars Nichols Hoult in the title role and Nicolas Cage as the vampire count–along with Awkwafina, Ben Schwartz, Adrian Martinez, Shoreh Aghdashloo, Bess Rous and James Moses Black.
In the feature–directed by Chris McKay from a screenplay by Ryan Ridley–Renfield “has been forced to procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding,” according to the synopsis.
But, after many years, Renfield, wanting his freedom, is rebelling against the lord of the vampires–but he still has to “figure out how to end his co-dependency.” Apparently, that’s easier said than done when dealing with Dracula.
