‘Festival Of The Living Dead’ Heads For Tubi This Fall

George A. Romero continues to inspire filmmakers.

Festival of the Living Dead–a new horror pic that draws on Romero’s 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead–is coming to Tubi this fall, according to a report on Deadline.

The feature–directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska from a screenplay by Helen Marsh and Miriam Lyapin–stars Ashley Moore (I Know What You Did Last Summer), Camren Bicondova (Gotham), Andre Anthony (The Night Agent), Christian Rose (Holiday Baggage), Shiloh O’Reilly (The Haunted Museum), Gage Marsh (You Me Her), Keana Lyn Bastidas (The Hardy Boys) and Maia Jae Bastidas (Rabbit Hole).

The film is set 50 years after Night of the Living Dead changed the horror scene forever, “and the horrific event has become the subject of morbid nostalgia,” according to the synopsis.

Looking for fun, Ash (Moore) and her friends attend the Festival of the Living Dead, “but it’s disrupted when a blast of radioactive space dust hits the festival, and they must defend themselves or be devoured by the living dead.”
