Feast Your Eyes on This Poster Art for The Mummy!

Hot off the buzz from the appearance of new footage at this week’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Universal has released new poster art for The Mummy. While early footage largely focused on Tom Cruise action sequences, the studio and the filmmakers have been eager to let fans know that the film will feature a strong horror element. This new poster art reflects that sentiment, as it features a close up of Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond) as Princess Ahmanet. Her double pupil and hieroglyphic markings are on full display on this one sheet, which can be viewed in full below:

The Mummy hits theaters on June 9th, 2017, and Universal hopes it will usher in a cinematic universe based on the studio’s world famous monsters. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more information on The Mummy as it breaks!
