Alicia Clark has stopped walking with the Walkers.

Alycia Debnam-Carey–who has played Clark in AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead since the show began–has left the popular zombie series, according to a report on Deadline.

Debnam-Carey’s final appearance was on last evening’s episode Amina, the 15th and penultimate chapter of the show’s seventh season. The current season wraps up next Sunday, June 5.

The actor recently was cast in the upcoming Hulu series Saint X, but there is no confirmation at this time if this new role is the reason for her leaving Fear the Walking Dead.

Debnam-Carey posted a goodbye message on social media–read it on this page–that said, in part, that her stint on the show was “exciting, challenging, fun, hard and inspiring. But now, after seven years and 100 episodes, I decided it was time for me to move on as an actor and as a person.”

She added that she felt “lucky to be a part of something so awesome for so long, but I hope you can understand and respect my decision to expand and grow. I wouldn’t be here without you all, and I am so grateful. It is bittersweet, but it is time. Thank you for everything.”

Fear the Walking Dead–a spinoff of AMC’s long-running flagship The Walking Dead series–is led by showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg. The show has already been renewed for Season 8.
