‘Fear Below’ Splashes Into The American Film Market This Week

by Thomas Tuna

Yup, it’s still not safe to go in the water.

Fear Below–a new finny and toothy thriller from Bronte Pictures–will slice into the American Film Market this week, with Blue Fox Entertainment handling global sales, according to Screen Daily.

The film–from director Matthew Holmes (The Cost)–follows a team of professional divers in 1940s Australia who are hired to find a sunken car–and who run smack dab into “a deadly bull shark hunting in the waters.”

On top of that problem, the divers find out they’re working for “ruthless criminals trying to recover their stolen gold bullion–and who prove to be as treacherous as what lurks beneath the surface.”

The ensemble cast includes Hermione Corfield, Will Fletcher, Jake Ryan, Clayton Watson, Josh McConville, Kevin Dee, Sam Parsonson, Jacob Nayingul and Arthur Angel.
