The conclusion of Cullen Bunn’s latest horror series, Lamentation, is set to arrive in stores on July 12th courtesy of Oni Press. The finale sees the cast of Razide’s Lament finally taking the stage, hoping their performance will release them from the haunted Requiem Theatre. But when the audience arrives and mysterious Prince Razide is unmasked, they learn this premiere may cost much more than their freedom.
Described as The Haunting of Hill House meets The Phantom of the Opera, the twists and turns laid out by Bunn along with the haunting artwork from Arjuna Susini make this series a must see. Fans of gothic horror will want to peek at Susini’s artwork as the look and feel are reminiscent of what you might see in the Mario Bava gothic horror flick.
