‘Evil Dead Rise’ Starts Its Run On Max Next Week

Evil Dead Rise–the latest chapter in the classic horror franchise–splashed onto the big screen back in April, and now it reaches the streaming service Max next week.

The film–debuting on Max June 23–is written and directed by Lee Cronin, and follows Beth (Lily Sullivan) when she visits her older sister Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) in Los Angeles.

But things take a turn for the horrific when the sisters discover a mysterious book deep in Ellie’s building–a book that unleashes a horde of demons and forces Beth to fight for her life.
