Ethan Hawke Lands Villain Role In ‘Moon Knight’

Ethan Hawke has signed on to play a villain in the upcoming Disney + Moon Knight series, according to a report on Deadline. While the exact villain remains unknown at this time, Moon Knight’s main nemesis has always been Bushman, an expert soldier with metal teeth.

Hawke will play opposite Oscar Isaac who was announced to play Moon Knight back in October, 2020.  Isaac, who played Poe Dameron in the Star Wars series, heads to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the complex hero. Mohamed Diab will helm the series with Jeremy Slater leading the writing team.

Having first appeared in the August 1975 issue of Werewolf by Night #32, Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin. The character, who continually is compared to Batman, has appeared in various animated series and video games.

Production on the series is set to start in March. Keep it locked to Horror News Network for the latest on Moon Knight.
