Entertainment One grabs UK rights to The 4th Reich

by Rob Caprilozzi

THR reports that Canada’s Entertainment One has secured all U.K. rights to the Shaun Robert Smith-directed WW2 action-horror film The 4th Reich. The project details the story of a brigade of British soldiers sent into occupied mainland Europe who find themselves up against an enemy created by Nazi scientists as an all-powerful fighting force for what would be the 4th Reich. The deal was inked with the distributor by Scott Mann and James Edward Barker’s edgy U.K. indie production banner Mann Made Films and British-based international sales outfit AV Pictures. The movie, for which the cast has been kept under wraps aside from Sean Pertwee and horror legend Tom Savini, is set to shoot this May in the U.K.
