It is clear that the El Rey Network understands what the holidays are all about: giving. Therefore, it should be no surprise that El Rey’s annual giant monster mash, Kaiju Christmas, is once again taking over their airwaves on December 22.
The marathon, featuring 96 hours of Godzilla films, begins on Saturday December 22 at 6 a.m. and will run until Wednesday December 26 at 6 a.m. The schedule is a bit different this year, as El Rey likes to switch up the titles from time to time, but there is sure to be more than enough city-stopping action to make your yearly visit with the relatives a little more palatable.
The marathon also includes repeated showings of the original Cloverfield film. Luckily, Netflix still has the rights to The Cloverfield Paradox, which ended up being a kaiju-sized disaster.
