What haunts you will find you. A promise…or a threat?
Jessie Buckley–who just this week received an Oscar nomination for her role in The Lost Daughter–will star next in a new horror entry from A24, simply entitled Men. An enigmatic teaser trailer for the film–courtesy of collider.com–can be seen on this page.
Men–written and directed by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation)–is shrouded, so far, in the same sort of mystery seen in the trailer, but a short synopsis reveals it deals with “a young woman who goes on a solo vacation to the English countryside after the death of her ex-husband.” The movie is slated for a May 20 theatrical release.
The film–produced by Andrew Macdonald, Allon Reich and Cahal Bannon–also stars Rory Kinnear (Penny Dreadful) and Paapa Essiedu (Gangs of London).
